“Pilon” is a fusion of Cameroonian genres. Reniss celebrates women’s independence and wordplays on the title, which means “pestle” in English, referring to the mortar and pestle, a staple in cooking in Cameroon and throughout Africa. The  visuals directed by Tatapong Beyala paints a perfect picture of the lifestyle of most boarding school students in Cameroon. Those who’ve gone to one can easily relate to this video, as  it brings back old memories of how students Break bounds( Jump through the school fence) to go out and have some external freedom which in most cases when caught can lead to dismissal. I applaud the video concept, enjoy , Download  and share.
