The party, hosted by actress-producer-socialite Syndy Emade, will give the public a once-in-a lifetime chance to join Film, music and reality TV stars for a weekend of fun, music and games at Cameroon’s most celebrated Beach resort.
The event will kick off with a music fest on Friday 30, showcasing top and upcoming artists and standup comics, as well as an all-white beach party. On Saturday, the music fest will continue with beach games, giving the public an opportunity to play against the stars.

Number One Girl is a primetime Cameroonian reality show where artist; Wax Dey is looking for a video girl for his next music video. But to get there, the Number ONE Girl has to beat 15 other selected candidates from castings held in different cities. The show broadcasts on Equinoxe TV from 24 March, every Saturday 9pm and every Wednesday at 4:30 pm, with rebroadcasts.
All candidates will receive mentorship and training from experts in the areas of entrepreneurship in entertainment, entertainment, personal development, and civic responsibility. The winner will win 1 million FCFA, a trip abroad (South Africa or Nigeria) and will act in Wax Dey’s the next music video. The location of the shoot is the water paradise Hotel Seme Beach. During filming, the candidates take part in various activities such as a Beach Party in Seme Beach, a visit to an orphanage, a flash mob in town, and training visits to women-managed businesses.
Although the judges will eliminate a few candidates, the winner will be chosen exclusively by a public vote. To vote for your favourite candidate, sms “CANDIDATE NAME” to 8543 (sms cost 50 FCFA). Vote as many times as possible to increase the chance of your candidate winning.
The show shall wrap up with a live broadcast red carpet Finals event at St. Johns Plaza on 9 June 2018.
