Bernard Gumoh AKA BenZil is a Cameroonian Afro-Dancehall Artist – musician from the Northwest Region of Cameroon. He started his music career in church as the lead singer and choir master. In 2008 during his High school studies, he took another musical step. Working with other up-coming ArtistsĀ  back then like Raz Zil and Shey. They formed a group back then known as “B2E”. He started his recording sessions at Studio 7 Douala, which gave him a platform for cabaret music and other concerts. Because of the love and passion he had for music, he went solo in 2015 he teamed up with his friends at E-killin Entertainment. While at E-killin Entertainment he got a collaboration deal and dropped an (EP) titled “Legend in the making” with hit songs like “Shake it”, “Come give me lovin” and “fine girl”. “Shake it” made airwaves in Cameroon and was one of the most listened, viewed, and played Cameroonian dancehall song. He’s collaborated with several Artists, notably DJ Karl in his hit Song titled “Cliche” with a highly anticipated video. And Currently signed to the record label, Strange Kings (*SK) Music of HIT 54 Studios. Being a humble and average home person, BenZil draws his inspiration from daily life situations and his life story. His musical mentors include Bob Marley, Bernie Man, Busy Signal, 2face, Kranium and other African and Jamaican Artists. He puts God above every other thing because to him without God, he wouldn’t be alive.
