Reniss releases her new EP Reniss Chante Les Classiques. Known for her “mboko pop” hits, such as her successful songs “La Sauce” and “Dashiki” off her album Tendon (2016), Reniss sings in many languages, blending traditional African genres into her work. In her new EP Reniss Chante Les Classiques, Reniss covers songs from iconic female African artists, such as Miriam Makeba, Cesária Évora, Bebe Manga, Bella Bellow and Monique Seka. Reniss adds her own beautiful touches to these classics on the six-song EP produced by Le Monstre. Released on March 8, in honor of International Women’s Day, Reniss Chante Les Classiques is available to download for free on Bandcamp. Download and listen below.
